Welcome to SWISSAROUND! I’m glad you’re visiting my blog.

Behind SWISSAROUND is me, Markus Manfredi, a photographer, videographer, and author from Zurich. From an early age, I was drawn to the mountains, lakes, and small villages that are often overlooked. This passion for discovering and capturing new places still accompanies me today – whether with a camera, drone, or notebook.

With over 5 million followers worldwide, Swissaround is one of the largest social media channels dedicated to Swiss landscapes and travel inspiration.
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous tourism regions, brands, and media outlets, sharing my personal experiences here – genuine, inspiring, and crafted with great attention to detail.

Whether it’s watching the sunrise from a mountain peak, strolling through charming old towns, or exploring hidden valleys, I believe every place deserves a story to be told.
As the author of the Magical Switzerland Guide, I take you to secret spots, impressive hikes, and moments you won’t find on Google.
Swissaround is meant to inspire you to see Switzerland and maybe one day the whole world with new eyes.

You can find more information about me and my work as a blogger in the FAQ.
If you’re interested in collaborating with me, feel free to take a look at my “Collaborations” section in the Portfolio.

When I’m not photographing breathtaking sunsets or filming new places in the Swiss Alps and around the world, I work as a Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager. In this field, I’m self-employed and help companies present their brands authentically and effectively on social media.

However, my main profession and passion lie in content creation and photography, particularly in the field of tourism. I work with destinations, hotels, and brands to tell visual stories that evoke emotions and inspire a desire to explore.

In addition to Swissaround, I’ve been featured in numerous publications, media reports, and online articles showcasing my photos and projects.
